When I walk through cities with some of my white friends( I’m white) and they see a group of Black men, they get nervous. When I’m walking with my Black friends, they feel relieved.
If you’re still in Massachusetts I think you’re safe to go almost anywhere. Boston did a good job of selling the city to the people who came to the NAACP conference this year.
I wish we could do more to integrate housing. Living together would change a lot.
